The Classics

When is comes to stadium music, there are “the classics” like Queen’s “We Will Rock You” and there are more modern hits from artists like Eminem and the Black Eyed Peas.  Most NFL teams tend to mix up their playlists with a combination of classics and current high-energy Billboard singles.  There are also some teams that have specific theme songs–including both official fight songs and unofficial music.

6. Minnesota Vikings – Skol Vikings

Some NFL teams have adopted specific songs as a theme song, or in one way or another are associated with a certain song.  For example, who can forget the “Super Bowl Shuffle” song as performed by the Chicago Bears in 1985?  Here are some others.

22. Black Eyed Peas – Boom Boom Pow

3. AC/DC – Shook Me All Night Long

26. Oakland Raiders – The Oakland Raiders Song Remix, by Luniz/Yukmouth

9. Moby – Bodyrock

8. San Diego Chargers – San Diego Super Chargers

36. Gary Glitter – Rock & Roll, Pt. Tag Team – Whoop There It Is

38. Gwen Stefani – Sweet Escape

35. Cali Swag District – Teach Me How to Dougie

OK, that feels like a fairly comprehensive list of classic songs played during NFL football games, but what about the more modern hits that grace our stadiums?  Any modern song with high energy is sure to be a candidate for NFL stadiums.

51. Snap – The Power

1. The Romantics – What I Like About You

27. C+C Music Factory – Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)

7. The Ramones – Blitzkrieg Bop
